In a bold move to elevate high school athletics in the region, Compton Unified School District’s Hub City League and the Long Beach Unified School District’s Moore League announced the formation of a new partnership. We are excited to introduce a new association, the SoCal Legacy Association, that includes the newly formed Hub City League and the Moore League.

Compton Unified School District was spotlighted in a recent AP News story for its remarkable academic achievements, distinguishing itself as a leader in educational recovery post-pandemic. While many districts nationwide continue to face challenges in bridging learning gaps, CUSD has demonstrated significant progress in both reading and math scores.
NASA astronaut Victor Glover addressed more than 600 CUSD scholars, principals, teachers, and staff recently in the monthly Black Student Achievement Virtual Career Day, providing direct access to leading Black professionals in high-interest fields.
